There is so much fear in most things that I see on social media at the moment and while fear is useful (it can help keep us safe), it is not helpful when we are making decisions.
Being reactive and in a panicked state does not serve anyone well. It puts us on high alert and we respond with a fight, flight or freeze response. When we are in a state like that it is hard to think with clarity and decipher facts from fiction and make balanced decisions.
More importantly our children can feel the panic not just through words but actions and responses.
Here are a couple of my thoughts that might help through these challenging and changing times.
